Well, at the heart of every Young Marine Promotion are two things. The first is studying the Young Marine guidebook. The second is dedication. Each Young Marine has to Take time to study his or her guidebook. There are oral quizzes that we do as A group, and for higher ranks there is also a written exam.

Young Marines can also earn ribbons for merit in different fields. Some of Those ribbons are, Marine Corps League Unit Commendation, Veterans Appreciation, Drug Demand, CPR Award, Basic First Aid, Physical Fitness, and Academic Achievement. The Young Marine National website Has a nice ribbon checking tool so you can see the different type of ribbons.

http://www.youngmarines.com/Fallin_pages/ribbon_checker.htm

Bottom lien is that all YM’s go through the same process for promotions and Award ribbons. Their own efforts and determination make these rewards Possible.

James
http://www.palmbeachym.com/trackback.php?id=Promotions
